first christmas thank you

As I close the studio for my Christmas break, I wanted to say a huge thank you for making my first Watercolour Sky Christmas season such a special one!

I absolutely adored being on my first Watercolour Sky Christmas stalls, and I was lucky to get a lot of extra stall dates and full weekends at St George’s Market. I know it sounds a bit crazy but I genuinely love getting up in the dark, when it’s freezing cold and heading off to the market when the world is frosty & white. It just feels so festive & Christmassy. Check out the new neon signs in St George’s Market that really made me laugh when it was -3 degrees outside some December mornings!

At the market, I met so many lovely customers both local and from all over the world, many of you gave such kind positive feedback about my new designs and products. I loved chatting to those of you who are creative too – always so nice chatting to other artists & creatives!

It was really challenging with my online sales affected by the Royal Mail strikes but my online customers were just plain amazing with their patience & kindness with the post delays. If you’re reading this and that means you, thank you so much for your understanding which made the world of difference to this small business coping through a stressful time.

It’s been a different kind of Christmas this year for so many reasons, but I’m blown away by the support for small businesses, not just for me but all my fellow creative businesses and makers. You can choose to spend your money anywhere, so it means a lot that you choose to shop with the little guys. I always choose small myself when it comes to Christmas shopping, so it goes in full circle 🙂
