It’s been a while…hello again!

Hello hello, it’s been a while since I posted here, Christmas 2023 I think – eek!

If you haven’t been following me on social media, here’s the quick version. I became very ill with Encephalitis in January 2023, I had to officially ‘pause’ my business only 4 months after rebranding to Watercolour Sky. Months rolled into years. Treatment and recovery took a long time, and at times I wondered if I’d ever get back to my studio, my market stalls and my plans.

Fast forward to today, October 2026, and I’m amazed and grateful I’ve been back in my studio creating part time since May. The last few months have been filled with challenges as I manage my new physical reality (or lack of physical reality lol) with working, but small steps for someone else are huge steps for me, so I’ve been celebrating each small win along the way.

My wins are:

• Getting back to my market stall at St George’s Market
• Getting my cards & stationery back into stockists’ shops & new shops
• Reopening my Etsy shop
• Launching a new range of illustrated art prints
• Completing my first commissioned artwork
• Finishing my first commissioned illustrated wedding stationery

I do have a list of non-wins, but they’re mostly things I didn’t get round to doing yet, so they’re more like delayed wins. I’ll get round to them eventually!

This post is really just a hello, I’m here and Watercolour Sky is back, and most importantly, thanks for being here, thanks for every card purchase at the market or on Etsy, or every single like or comment on my social media. Find me on Instagram and Facebook, and if you’d like to join my newsletter, I’d love you to join me there.
